The 'Chat with your Data' era is over. While general-purpose chatbots were a great introduction to LLMs, they are an inefficient way to run a business. The future belongs to Headless, Task-Specific Agents.
Headless AI: Automation without the Chat
A task-specific agent doesn't wait for a user to type a prompt. It triggers based on system events (e.g., a new invoice arrival or a GitHub PR) and executes its workflow in the background. It only surfaces in a UI when it needs human approval or has a critical finding.
UX for Agency
This requires a new design language. Instead of a chat bubble, we build Activity Feeds and Decision Desks. These interfaces are designed for oversight, not conversation. By removing the chat interface, we reduce friction and allow AI to integrate directly into the existing operational stack.
